Kimchi Bap, Cooked rice with Kimchi and pork February 13 2014

 

Serves 4, 30 minutes

 

600g rice, soaked in water

500g kimchi, cut small pieces

200g pork

 

Seasoning for pork: 20g green onion, 30 soy sauce, 10g sesame oil, 10g sesame seed, pepper Or Raon Ganjang marinade enough to cover pork

 

1. Saute pork in a skillet or a pot over medium heat until hot and add cut kimchi for 5-10 minutes until tender.

2. Add 800g of water and boil.

3. Add drained rice. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Turn the heat to medium until the rice has absorbed all the liquid. Decrease the heat to very low and let rest for 10-15 minutes.

4. Fluff the rice and mix well. Serve hot in a bowl with a sauce.

 

Sauce to serve with: 15g soy sauce, 5g sesame oil, 5g sesame seed, 5g minced garlic, 10g minced green onion, pepper
