Ingredients:
1 container firm tofu
1/4 cup all-purpose flour or cornstarchĀ
Ā¼ cup vegetable oilĀ
1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
1 tsp garlic, minced
Ā½ cup Raon Gochujang Marinade SauceĀ
1 tbsp honey
Ā¼ cup green onion, choppedĀ
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
- Press the tofu with a kitchen paper towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.Ā
- Cut the tofu into big cubes.
- Pat and dry the tofu to remove the excess liquid.Ā
- Place the flour on a plate and gently roll each tofu piece on the flour with your fingers to ensure all sides are covered.
- In a large skillet, add vegetable oil, then bring it up to medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the coated tofu to the pan in small batches, so they have room between pieces and don't stick together.Ā
- Fry the tofu until they are crispy and golden browned.Ā
- Place the fried tofu on a plate and set it aside.
- In a medium skillet, add vegetable oil and heat over medium heat.Ā
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, and then add the Gochujang marinade sauce, water, and honey.
- Cook for another 3 minutes.
- Once the sauce becomes thicker, add the fried tofu to the pan.
- Toss the tofu around to coat, and then add the green onion, and mix them well.
- Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top!
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
