    Experience kimchi the way it’s traditionally made and shared.

    Our Whole Napa Cabbage Kimchi is crafted using the time-honoured gimjang method, where each head of napa cabbage is carefully seasoned and fermented intact. This technique preserves the natural layers and texture of the cabbage, allowing the flavours to develop slowly and deeply over time.

    Compared to pre-cut kimchi, whole-cabbage kimchi offers a more complex, balanced fermentation. It is crisp in the inner leaves, richly seasoned on the outer layers, and full of natural depth.

    We use only plant-based ingredients, with no seafood or added sugar, resulting in a clean, bright, and tangy flavour profile that highlights the true character of the vegetables.

    How to use

    Shipping

    We offer two main fulfillment options: Pick-Up or Ship (Canada Post or Local Delivery).

    PICK UP

    1.1. No minimum order amount is required.

    1.2. Order preparation time:

    Please allow us approximately two hours during our business hours to prepare your order for pick-up. You will receive a notification email or a text message based on your profile.

    1.3. Pickup location:

    Our address is 65 Bentley Avenue, Unit 6, Ottawa, ON K2E 8B4, facing Sunderland Avenue, near Costco Merivale.

    1.4. Cost:

    Pick-up is free.

    SHIP - Canada Post

    2.1. No minimum order amount is required.

    2.2. Order preparation time:

    We ship out the next business day with a cut-off at noon. Once the order is dropped off at a post office, a tracking number is provided. You can track the expected delivery date.

    2.3. Expected delivery date:

    During checkout, you can choose from different Canada Post services: Expedited, Xpresspost, or Priority. Each service shows the expected delivery date (including our preparation time) and the corresponding cost.

    Canada Post Flat Rate:

    The Flat Rate Box is available when your order excludes Kimchi, and the total weight is less than 5kg (e.g., up to 7 jars of sauces).

    Note: If your order includes Kimchi and the address is outside of Ontario and Quebec, only Xpresspost or Priority services are available to expedite delivery.

    ***Please note that we reserve the right to cancel your entire order or part of it if we are concerned about the delivery time. Some delivery speeds may not be available for all locations within Ontario or Quebec by Canada Post.

    SHIP - Local Delivery (Ottawa, Gatineau, Perth, and Carleton Place ONLY)

    3.1. A minimum order total of $30 is required for local delivery.

    3.2. Eligible regions & cost:

    For Ottawa, Gatineau, Perth, and Carleton Place, the distance from our location (65 Bentley Avenue, Nepean) is the main factor. Below is a rough idea of areas falling into different radius categories.

    3.3. Delivery day & Cut-off:

    Your order will be delivered on Wednesday or Thursday.

    Cut-offs:

    Wednesday deliveries: Orders made between Wednesday afternoon the prior week and Tuesday morning in the same week.

    Thursday deliveries: Orders made between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning in the same week.

    3.4. Recommendation:

    If your order includes Kimchi, we recommend placing a cooler outside at your doorstep during warm or hot months. Although Kimchi doesn't spoil in high temperatures, it ferments quickly and may leak.
